CBSE Reschedules Class 10 & 12 Board Exams: March 3 Papers Deferred, Check Revised Dates Now

The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams earlier set for March 3, 2026, have been rescheduled due to administrative reasons, while all other exam dates remain unchanged

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rescheduled one examination each for Class 10 and Class 12, which were earlier scheduled to be held on March 3, 2026.

In an official notice, the board said the decision was taken due to administrative reasons. All other examinations in the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exam schedule will continue as planned.

According to the revised schedule, the Class 10 exam that was earlier planned for March 3, 2026, will now be conducted on March 11, 2026.

For Class 12 students, the examination scheduled on March 3, 2026, has been postponed by over a month and will now be held on April 10, 2026.

CBSE has clarified that for Class 12, the exam rescheduled from March 3, 2026, is Legal Studies, which will now be held on April 10, 2026.

For Class 10, several language and elective papers that were earlier scheduled for March 3 have also been rescheduled. These include:

German
NCC
Bhoti
Bodo
Tangkhul
Japanese
Bhutia
Spanish
Kashmiri
Mizo
Bahasa Melayu
Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy

All other Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations will be conducted as per the original datesheet.

The board has informed schools that the datesheets are being amended accordingly. The revised exam dates will also be mentioned on the admit cards once they are issued.
